Wishlist

All around me I hear people complain about Christmas in the stores before Thanksgiving. I, however, have been listening to Christmas music for a week already. I started while I made Sadie's Christmas dress, and I can't stop. Nothing gets you in the Christmas spirit like sewing red velour and listening to Christmas tunes. On a side note: why does "velour" keep showing up as misspelled? I even looked it up on dictionary.com! It's right!

I asked last year, and I'm going to ask again this year. What's on the top of your wish list? Even if you have zero chance of getting it. I know Christmas isn't about getting, but it's fun hearing what other's like.

I like this.

And how's this for a little Christmas preview?

I want that too!! DH got me that for some occasion last year and it's all gone. Mmmm. Ooo, I didn't know they had body wash and all that in that scent!

She's so cute. Love the dress. :)

I don't really have too much of an actual Christmas wishlist -- just one CD (Best of James Taylor) and a sweater set. But if someone came along and said they'd like to spend a lot of money on me :-), I'd ask for a stereo system with a remote control (ooh la la!) and new eyeglasses.

Sadie looks adorable in her red velour!!
Wish list huh, my hubby and I don't usually exchange gifts, we concentrate on the kids and family. But I would have to say if I had to pick one for the top of my list it would probably be a kitchen aide mixer. I have always wanted one, but refuse to spend $300 on one:) Actually forget the mixer thing, my mixer works just fine!!!a $300 gift card to Macy's would be better, I love shopping for clothes, problem is I usually end up buying only kids clothes!:)

I love Sadie's dress. Did you make a hmm what do they call infant underwear? to go with it too? She's darling, esp with her earrings :-)

I like Anna's idea. I've always wanted a professional grade food processor, but it's very expensive for an item that I can use other methods to achieve about the same result.

I'd like to go to the NY gift fair next Feb. That would be a lot of FUN! Not to mention I've never been to the east coast.

Sweetisu,
I didn't have enough material to make the bloomers (that's what I call them LOL).

Emily,
The JoAnn Fabrics store? I would take that!

Darn it, I lost my post...I see there is another Emily posting to your blog, confusing!

My mom is the only one that buys me anything for Christmas and it is usually a new perfume. This year I would like a new bottle of Guess! I usually go out and buy myself something nice too. This year I have ordered a new comforter set from LTD.

Amie, how do you do the link by just clicking on the word?

Emily,
I guess I do have two Emilys! I thought that was you... Select the word you want to link to, then click the little icon that looks like a world with a chain link. A box will come up for you to type in the website you want the word linked to.

btw, Hi to the new Emily :)

Thanks for the link help! It was driving me crazy! BTW, Sadie's dress is adorable! In loosing my post, I forgot to re-write that! LOL at you thinking the other Emily was me...I have NO sewing ability what-so-ever, a JoAnne's Fabric Store would be totally useless to me! =)!! I bet you were thinking...since when did Emily sew!

I'm so envious of your sewing skills. I love that dress.

I want a CD from the African Children's Choir and an adoption Tshirt. Thats about it. I'd really like to give more to those in need than me getting things. Well, I do need some new kitchen towels too, but I think I'll wait on asking for that as our yucky brown water turns them brown!

That scent is appropriately named. I don't think there is a person out there that doesn't like the way that smells. Good choice. And nice handi-work. Sadie looks so pretty.

I love her dress, she is adorable!

And out of the VS scents, I loved the Halo, but they don't sell it anymore! :(

Now I am stuck on their new fruity line, the strawberry fizz smells great!

Love the Christmas dress. Sadie is so cute!!

I want a Husqvarna sewing machine.
http://www.husqvarnaviking.com/us/6616.htm" It's an emboidery and cost a fortune.. otherwise I'd have it already. I'm not sure it's worth the money. When I retire I'll have more time to play with something like that.
