Diaper Cake

I'm the first to admit that when I undertake these sorts of things, they rarely turn out like I imagine in my head. However, this diaper cake came together exactly as I was picturing it. I made it for my friend's baby shower. Posted by Picasa

That is so perfect Amie! I can't wait for the shower. That is better then I imagined. Probably too because it looks way better then the one I made before. You did a great job! Tanya will love it!

That's awesome looking! Wish someone would have made one for me :)

Oh and if I sent it to the wrong email, would you email me any family emails you may have? We're trying to get something together for a mass emailing regarding the reunion :)

WOW! That turned out great! How adorable! The ladies from our church in North Dakota had made one of those when I was pregant with my first! It was the first time I heard of a diaper cake- and it was SUCH a blessing! Good job! Have fun at the shower!

I just saw this on Yahoo "how to". I never heard of one before that. I was going to attempt one for a friends shower, but I thought better of it later I figrued I would mess it up and ruin diapers or something. Good job!

Kim,
They are disposable diapers. There are about 70 number 2 papmers.

Denise,
I watched my friends mother make one of these a couple years ago, so I had a good idea how it went together. Otherwise, who knows how it would of turned out? LOL

That's a great looking cake. How do you make the 'layers' hold onto each other? Is there a 'center beam' of some sort?
I love it!
