I need to learn how!! I have tried a few times with no success (although it had to be better than the recent cut'em quick place we stopped in. How did you learn to cut boys hair?
Great job Amie! They look perfect. I am waiting to cut my boys' hair until just before Easter Sunday!
Oh, I hear ya! There's no way I'm paying for haircuts. I cut my DH's, too. It's a pain and they wiggle and whine like crazy, but it's worth the hassle. I'm impressed you got a before and after shot!
I mean the boys wiggle and whine, not the hubby. ;o)
I have been cutting Daniels hair ever since the "incident" at Daniels first haircut. I do it a little at a time and he doesn't seem to mind. I have also been cutting Chad's hair. Although I prefer to do his in the summer when we can go outside.
Recently, in order to be more frugal, Bruce has started cutting N.'s hair.
Ahem! N. says that Bruce needs to look up and define the words "cut" and "trim" and use them in a sentence in order to prove that he knows the difference.
Your boys look very nice though, and are probably too young to want a "skater" haircut.
Mom always cuts our hair. Even though it makes a big mess, it's worth the money and time! You did a good job!
great job!!
First, I love how they're all in their Spiderman pjs! Second, you do a great job! Zach does Jo's hair and sometimes Gabe's, but I really don't like Gabe's done the way he does it! Those are some handsome boys!
Cute pictures! I cut my boy's hair and the DH, too. I learned on him! lol! I could not imagine the cost of cutting 5 heads of hair at the barbers.
great job! Who got the nick on the ear??
I usually trim my little girl's hair too... there's no way I'm paying to have her bangs trimmed every three weeks!!
She gets it cut every now and then by a hairdresser, but really, she usually only wants a trim, I can cut a straight line!
Guess who loves Spiderman??? :-)
Nice job Amie. I'm impressed you were able to get 'before' and 'after' pictures.
Haircutting is one of the things that saves us money too. I've been *practicing* on Hubby for almost 10 years! Hehee.
Kelli,
When Isaac was a baby my friend who does hair taught me how to cut with scissors. Several years ago though, I gave up on the scissors and started using clippers. The first set came with a very helpful video.
Genevieve,
Jonah got the nick. He is the only one who can't sit still!
And Elisheva your right, it really helps that they have preferences aside from the fact they don't wan't all their hair buzzed off.
You do good work! I loved those pics.
You are so multi-talented.
We do Crazy's hair with clippers, but i love Baby Boy's hair done with scissors. So he goes to the barber! lol
I loved the part where you slyly added the nick on the ear bit. :) That's great you cut the boys' hair!
All Smiles, Gracie
Bob cuts Luke's hair (and his own) and I'm even worse when it comes to waiting until the last minute! I always want to post before and after shots of him as well but I always forget to take the "before" picture until I see the total reformation in the "after"! LOL
