Weekend in a Nutshell

Its been an eventful weekend.

Friday night we were invited to a little get together. It was fun because we didn't know some of the people real well and it was nice to get to know them better. There was a gigantic t.v set up to play video games. Isaac patiently waited until the older boys went outside before he pounced on the controller (we had to pry his hands off to go home). They had horses which I'm sure the boys would of loved, but it was way too cold outside to be hanging out in the barn. Jeremiah also learned that I'm a formidable air hockey opponent.

Friday night Jeremiah had to deal with an unfortunate event at work.

Saturday we went to the murder mystery dinner. On Wednesday night at church we received our papers telling us who our characters were, what their background was and what secrets they knew. It was so much fun! The theme was the 70's so I did the whole Farah Facett "wings" and made sure to wear plenty of blue eye shadow. My character was guilty of arson, much to the surprise of most. Jeremiah really got into the game, spreading rumors like crazy. He did what he could to throw people of my track about the whole arson thing.

The boys were very good for the babysitter, Samuel didn't even cry when we left. I rented them a Clifford movie to watch and made sure they had plenty of snacks.

And of course, church this morning. I am nursery team leader this month which means I have to make sure things are running smoothly in all three nurseries. Not a hard job, but it keeps you busy. Isaac and Elijah made "kazoo" noisemakers in Children's Church so you can imagine the fun ride home. :D

So that's our weekend in a nutshell.
