Jonah's bird feeder.

Jonah made a bird feeder last week during enrichment day. Sadie made one too, but Mary Jane got to it before we could hang it up. So we hung this up on our back deck. Jonah stared out the window for the longest time waiting for birds to come. After awhile he asked if the birds were stopping at all the other kid's houses first. Finally, the birds found it. Now they are eating from it so often, he doesn't even bother looking when I tell him a bird is out there.

Not a very good picture, but it was the best I could do without scaring the bird.

I've had such poor success with birdfeeders. . . squirrels always got to them in Florida. I'm so glad your birds found them quickly!
