Home

We're home. Actually we got home yesterday. Now I'm ready for my vacation after my vacation. I do get one right? Actually, no. We already started back up with school and I'm already back on my exercise schedule.

I have to say that Sadie was a wonderful traveler. We we're really nervous about that because sometimes she can make a simple 5 minute trip into town stressful.

The other thing that made our trip smooth was our Garmin. I don't know how we ever traveled without one! In a strange city and want to know where the nearest Chinese restaurant is? Just type it in and the Garmin will direct you there. If you miss a turn it will simply say "recalculating" and get you back on course. No arguments, no getting lost.

My mom has one, she is the last person I would have figure to get one. She has always been good with directions. Actually she is the reason I get annoyed when people say "well I'm a woman so I'm not good with maps" ARRRGG.....after she used it and said she wouldn't go anywhere new without one I would use one.

So glad you made it home safe and sound! I know what you mean about the vacation afterwards. Good for you for jumping right back in to school! The end is in sight for us and it feels good!

Glad you got home safely!

When we moved out here from CA, we used MS Streets and Trips on my laptop - it was great as far as being very useful and helpful and all that.. but, I must say, I'd trade it for that nice compact little Garmin any day. ;)

I'm glad you made it home safely! :)

We have a GPS that hooks to the laptop that acts a little like that. It is really nice when you really don't know where you are going! We used it the first time we went to the Children's Museum in Indy and it got us right there.

Hi Amie!

Glad you stopped by. I only started giving out my link recently (although I blogged privately since January). If you want to see our family pictures, make sure you register.

Your vacation looked lovely. Hope you soon recover from your vacation! :-)

We used to use a GPS to go geocaching.

Welcome home!

The Great Smokies look wonderfully pleasant.

And if you can...ease back into the routine over a week.
It keeps you smiling!

No one needs a vacation more than someone who has just return from one!! I hope you're taking time to rest. Sounds like you had a nice trip.

We took Greg's two older kids to Disney about a month ago. Kim and family were there too. It was a blast but we were glad to get home. (to rest)

Now it's work as usual.

Glad you had a great time and made it home safely!

I think the Magellan (same thing) has saved our marriage. Or at least a few road trips!
