Lacing Cards

I found another cool art book the other day. One of the crafts in it was lacing cards. They are really easy and very non-messy. Just find some cardboard, draw a simple picture, punch holes along the pictures (we used a knitting needle), use yarn to lace the picture. Wrap some tape around one end of the yarn to make a lace. True to their nature, the boys enjoyed punching the holes more than anything.

LOL I can see how the punching would be more fun than the lacing. ;) Cute.

hi Amie, Thanks for visiting my site. The lacing cards are a great idea. My oldest wants to learn to sew and this would be a great thing for her until I learn to sew,LOL!! Feel free to add me to your list of bloggers. I'll add you to mine. I am homeschooling also. I'm very excited to be in touch with other mom's.
