Yesterday, Fox news reported that New Hampshire is considering changing their state motto** from the ultra-cool "Live Free or Die" to the totally lame and forgettable "You're going to like it here". How sad.
**Correction: they are only considering changing it on their welcome signs.

Thank goodness it's Thursday. This week is positively dragging!
I live within spitting distance of NH, and do all of my shopping, doctor visits, church going ... etc. ... over in NH. It's more home than home is!
I hadn't heard about that, and honestly, if they do change the motto, I'm afraid that it would change the character of the entire state.
After losing "Old Man of the Mountain" a few years ago - NH's icon - this would be the last straw.
