Rain
In the midst of today's downpour, Jonah and Sadie wanted to go play on the deck. At first I said "no", but then I figured what the heck, it's not like they are going to melt or something.

I remember what it was like to want to play in the rain. Now I never think of it, but I bet I would have fun!
Ah yes, every kid should get to play in the rain! And if there's no lightning, why not, right?
I actually went for a brief walk during a downpour the other day when I was desperate to be anywhere but inside my apartment. My neighbor's grown daughter saw me leaving and said, "You realize it's raining?" Um, yeah, I do! My pants and jacket were soaked when I got home, but it was good to get out.
I let the kids to that a couple of years ago, and they still talk about it :) Fun times :)
So cute..I remember as a kid going out and playing in the rain..
